TriMet Introduces WES Commute Time Essay Contest; Villebois Residents are the Perfect Audience

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – November 17, 2008 – TriMet, the transit system serving the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area, is holding an essay contest for anyone interested in sharing what their commute experience will be like aboard the new Westside Express Service (WES) Commuter Rail serving the metropolitan area’s west side and connecting the south metro area to downtown, the airport and all other corners of the city.

A transit-oriented community, Villebois offers residents easy access to the new WES Station in Wilsonville. Imagine the ease of living in a community that allows you to avoid rush-hour traffic and get to work on time! Not to mention, you’ll feel good knowing you’re reducing your carbon footprint by spending less time on the road. Commute from Villebois in Wilsonville to work in Tigard, Tualatin or Beaverton, or hop aboard the MAX train at the Beaverton Transit Center for a quick ride downtown or even out to Gresham. Villebois is perfectly located to help you get where you need to go.

All participants will be entered into a drawing to win an invitation to a preview ride on WES and an All-Zone Monthly Pass.
